Dear *{{Informal Name}}* ,
Sarah would be turning 25 today. I think that she would be proud of what her family and friends have done in her name. She hated the stigma of being the girl with the mental health issues. In 2014, we weren't so understanding about mental health, and we weren't talking about it like we are now. Sometimes I say that's been a silver lining to the pandemic.
It's been almost ten years since The Sarah Michelle Peterson Foundation began. In that time, we have trained thousands of people to recognize signs and respond when someone is thinking about suicide. Tens of thousands have picked up information from our resource table at one of the events we have been at with our many partners. YOU have made it all possible.
Sarah died far too soon, and from a preventable death. Like her dad said in the video he made back in October, there is still time for others who struggle. We can all do something to help. Scroll down to see some of what your donation can do.
If you have made a donation this year, we sincerely thank you from the bottoms of our hearts. If you have not yet donated, please consider a tax-deductible gift of any size. It will all go toward programming to end suicide, and your support is needed more than ever as we continue to grow. The need is great; please help.
Sincerely,
Michelle Peterson
Executive Director
