Join our Volunteer Team!
You can help educate others as we work toward a World Without Suicide together! Volunteering starts with online training on the second Tuesday of any month. At volunteer training, you will meet the volunteer coordinator, Laura, and get certified in Question, Persuade, & Refer by our program coordinator, Amy. They will tell you about our current volunteer needs and show examples of typical activities. The Sarah Michelle Peterson Foundation is powered by volunteers, and we are so thankful for the people who have volunteered their time in service of our mission. If you’re interested in volunteering your time and talents, reach out to us via our Contact Page.
Volunteer Opportunities
Resource Table Host
Talk to community members about our mission and hand out information and resources, along with fun give-away items. If you’d like to help us staff a resource table, get in touch!
Workshop and Training Leaders
Each year, The Sarah Michelle Peterson Foundation trains thousands of individuals from schools and other groups in the community. We rely on our trained workshop leaders to facilitate a number of these events. The training leader is someone who’s reliable, friendly, and passionate about good mental health. If this sounds of interest to you, contact us!
Digital Design
We share mental health resources as well as upcoming events, recent accomplishments, and other relevant news on social media. If you enjoy graphic design or another art form and would like to help us create digital content, visit our Contact Page!
Fundraising
Do you have the ability to hold a fundraiser for us? If so, we want to hear from you! Raising money in your circle of influence would mean the world to us since the amount of programming we can do is directly related to funding. Reach out with your ideas!
